Currently working as a City Planner in Hampton, Virginia within the Community Development Department. Hampton is home to approximately 135,000 people while the greater Hampton Roads region features 1.7 million residents. Often considered one of the United States more affordable beach towns, it is closely nestled very close to Norfolk, Newport News, and Virginia's Historic Triangle.

Within this, offer effective and practical solutions to ordinance and policy conflicts. Utilize knowledge of the Comprehensive Plan, Strategic Plan, Strategic Economic Development Initiatives, and other applicable policy documents. Responsible for representing the Community Development department in various interdepartmental responsibilities, and able to conduct public presentations/briefings to community groups, commissions, councils, or other similar public forums. Lastly, conduct evaluations of land use and development proposals and implement planning policies that support adopted City goals and objectives.
